This is Front Rock 007 release and is probably my favorite FR band, but I also
don't know anything about them, because I was only 7 years old when this 7inch came out :P


The sound is a mix between heavy metal and punk tempo attitude.
Songs base more on instrumental concept though.
According to this four tracks, Gottschee was very quality band. I don't know what happened to them and if there are some other recordings left.
There exists a Gottschee lyrics - written by Robert Burnič, collection book released also in 1991.
Well, if you have some other information, let me know.

''Arised in 2003 by a few punk-rock/HC lovers fortunate enough to bump into each other. Survived to the first-years must members alterations, Kennybal Smith is nowadays a four-piece family, united as one against bad days, bad mood, dishonesty and all the spoiled currents.

It is hard to find a moment in our lives that can be compared with moments lived behind the rehearsal place's walls and on stage. Sour sweat droplets on the face hands and chest constantly dropping on the floor, soaked shirt, deep breathing. And while loud shouts calm the restless feelings inside, the guitar riffs carve the joy into our hearts. It's simple but meaningful. We love it so much. We have so much fun. This is what we call freedom. And this is why we keep going on. Music itself keeps us going on, as a band, and in life too.

This is one of the best punk-rock albums from Slovenia  for sure. The songs are different and quality enough to keep the CD in your player longer than just first time. Kennybal Smith show great amount of talent and including musical guests was also a great idea.
KS take you from melodic singalongs and guitar solos, leaning on strong lyrical backbone, to almost epic conclusion of the album with the song Stolen Childhood in fat 30 minutes.

Man in the shadow was one of few bands in Slovenia that put the lyrics and ideas behind them above musical manifest. You can find all of MITS lyrics and explanations for them, in English and Slovene, included with their albums. That is very cool and makes their legacy even stronger. Musically Man in the shadow takes you to all sorts of fields, from angry crust echo, to emo 'upgraded' punk-hc.

They released two 7inch albums: Self titled, 1997 and Pax Americana, 1999.
And in 2001 also self titled, discography CD at Choose Life Records.
All releases are 'equipped' with lyrics and explanations about ideas that they stand behind as the band and as individuals Not to mention nicely album designed covers and inlays. Thumbs up for that!

Texas screamo HC band was active only from 2005-09.
They released:  Demo cd 2005, Damezumari/Fire Team Charlie split lp 2007, End Of A Year/Fire Team Charlie split 7" 2007, Fire Team Charlie 7" 2007 and ...and Everything Will Be Undone 10" 2008.

This last release is probably the best one from them, but all of their music is worth of checking out.
I got hooked on FTC pretty fast. This 10'' was printed 400 on black and 100 on silver (pre order edition).

So here you have four years old album from Maribors Low Value. The band started playing in 2000 and is active till today (with some member changes).
The 2005 The language of stolen music is probably the peak of their music path till now. First it was released by the band till 2006 when boys signed for Japanese label: CR Japan Inyaface.
But their discography will expand early next year (2010) with their second album called RECHARGE, released by High Speed Flower records also based in Japan.

So be expecting more melodic punk rock tunes from this band very soon! And in the mean time, taste their debut album. It features 11 melodic punkrock songs, varying from fast energetic parts as heard from 90s melodic bands to some almost ballade parts, plus a bonus song that is actually not a song and could be easily left out. All in all this album is a nice contribution to Slovenian punk scene, but I am sure we can expect much more from the announced second album, as the band was maybe searching for their place and sound with this one, and sometimes I feel they went too far looking for melodies that made Fat Wreck Chords so popular in 90s. But who am I to say? This is sympathic music release with cool CD design.

This is the first album from NčOdNč. It was released just few weeks ago. Lot of concert experiences and I guess love for music logically led to the release of this album. The band mixes all sorts of genres, I would be closest if I say this is a nice Hard Rock album with Punk energy generating it. Lyrics are all in Slovene and almost constructivist, so they do let more interpretations possible.

You should support NČODNČ since this is cool Slovenian rock that doesn’t come along very often.

Ženevski Dekret formed in Mostar - Bosnia in 1984, playing trash HC Punk under influence of Finish HC bands of that time. Their first album called "MOSTAR" was recorded in Slovenia in '87. After the debut release their singer left because of personal differences.

In 1988 their second full length was recorded with new singer in Sarajevo, called "DONT WANNA BE A PART OF FUCKIN' MASS", including some wider specter of punk/hc/r'n'r styles.

They've been one of more influential bands in that time Yugoslavia, played alot of shows and appeared on various compilations (Čudeža nebo CASS, Naša četica koraka CASS, The Return of Yugoslavia LP, High Road To Obscurity CD, No Border Jam 4&5 CD, Ni Strahu VHS...)

In 1996 three members met by coincidence in Sweden, where they moved to. And in March 1997 they recorded 10 Godina (10 Years) album with new guitarist, that was never officialy released. (The rumor is it was supposed to be released by Slovenian Front Rock Records from Maribor.)

In 1998/99 they played few shows and than band members moved to other projects.
In 2006 they announced a reunion with new album to come out "THE BEST OF"(1985-2006) with remastered songs from the past and some new ones. I believe it was also never officially released. In January 2007 their dear friend and original lead guitarist Djoko passed away, which was a very sad experience for the band and after that they decided to take break with Geneve Decree.

Members of Rights reserved, El sucio played together on this Eagle Bravo project. They split before completing the album. So there was material for only half of 12''vinyl. It was supposed to be released at Assorted porkchops records, but was released after a while at Gridsector records.
The 12'' is printed in 700 copies.

Bass and guitar lines with this 8 tracks, show the potential Eagle Bravo band had. Defenetley worth of checking for al Hc fans and explorers.

There is even a fan Eagle Bravo MySpace page, where you can pre-listen few tracks.

This is their 7'' that was recorded in 1995 in some store and so is the sound poorer than on '98 album. Only Robot Man, was re-recorded later.
The music indicates where the band will go with he sound in their short time together. The sound and songs are way less perfected than on full length.

Pretty rare stuff these days, but it looks like you can still buy it from Pig Zen Space online distro.
You can alo get some older Emo/Hc downloads there. Each album costs 3,50$ and even if it is very out of date distro, it works! (tested with paypal).

This is a live compilation from Unterhund club in Ormož, Slovenia.
KRISTUŠI that mix some raw street punk with trumpet and PPRIDIGARJI with more ska filled songs, are featured on A side.

This album brings you as close as possible, hearing these bands at their best times, playing pissed of punk and having fun doing it.

All bands were formed in early 90s (Pridigarji - 1988. Wasserdich - 90, Noise Order - 94) and played pretty much underground scene home and also abroad. They all have bunch of various splits and albums, that are mostly sold out and hard to get.
The only still active band till today are Pridigarji. You can pick some of their CDs at their shows or MySpace contact.

The story of CZD – Center for Dehumanization begins in the late 1970’s and early 80's when its forming members Bojan Tomažič and Dušan Hedl were playing in bands Butli, Džumbus and Masaker. All of them together formed a closely connected scene which was centered around the club in Trate, at the same time functioning as one of the first punk clubs in this part of Europe (besides the FV in Ljubljana). Regular guests were people from Maribor as well as other parts of Slovenia and former Yugoslavia, mixed with guests from Austria, which was one of the reasons the band members and others were accused of espionage.
Among other activities they published the Bla, bla, bla fanzine and in 1984, CZD was formed. Starting off as a trio, the band later appeared on the Novi rock festival in the former Yugoslavia. Dušan Hedl started his own record publishing business, at first for his own band CZD, and later on Front Rock and its vinyl release developed into a proper underground institution.
CZD soon became a legend, with the help of their friends on the punk scene their first tape appeared on every possible punk consuming point across the globe.
The band kept publishing records and touring Europe, and several books were published about the band and the club. In 2003 performed at the European capital of culture opening in Graz (Austria) and in 2004 at the Punk kongress in Kassel (Germany). The forming members Dušan and Bojan are also the founders of a punk singing choir called Punkapella (with Mike Pride), seated in New York.
CZD offers an incredible story, and once becoming its part, there is no saving you. By listening to their work, you will invariably become a patient of the Center For Dehumanization.

So here is the third record in a row from one of most active bands in Slovenia.

It was issued with February 2009 RSQ magazine as a digipak CD.

The sound on the record is very polished and almost perfect, but whole album lacks some innovations with melodies and vocal lines. It is not so easy to stand out with pop/punkrock these days, especially if you wish to succeed outside the Slovenian borders.
In general The Days That Follow is very decent album, but I can't help not to think boys can do even better..

KUZLE Idrija, Slovenija, former Yugoslavija….. Idrija is a Slovenian town that was famous in the eighties for it’s quick silver mine, lace, žlikrof dumplings, psychiatric hospital and a punk band named KUZLE (bitches, female dogs). Today it’s known mostly for two big factories and for it’s apathetic residents, a real ghost town one could say. Once upon a time it was not like this… On the remains of different rock and punk bands, a group of young boys got together in the eighties and formed a band. They had many things in common: were all full of hormones, read the Yugoslave rock magazine Ðuboks, were fanaticaly buying vinil records in Italy and listened, felt and lived for punk music. Soon the band Kuzle was formed, the memberes were: Dare Kauric guitar/back vokal, Bojan Lapanja vokal, Iztok Turk drums, Dušan Moravec bass guitar/back vokal. In the following years they made almost sixty songs, had around thirty gigs, a few recordings, appeared on TV and radio stations and issued a compilation Lepo je (’It is beautiful’). Later on they changed two drumers, first Bojan Pajer then Iztok Lampe. Unfortunately the endless years the members had to serve the military service for the National army of Yugoslavia changed everything in the band and Kuzle soon become a part of the past. People went their way, Yougoslavia disintegrated. And now, after 25 years, the recorded songs are found and introduced to the public.

This is one of the best representatives of so called New HardCore. The music is sometimes fast sometimes slow, but always melodic and emotional. The Vocals are just perfect for their sound.
The band rise from nothing and reached world fame in HC circles. They toured alot and released everything you see listed above in all formats, colors and different pressings.. Only Meridian and Disconnecting are released also on CD, the rest is on vinyl. The last self titled 7inch holds two tracks released also ona 3 way split CD with As we let go and My love.
Meridian is actually re-mastered/re-recorded? demo minus one track, plus 6 new songs.
The last 7inch releases show some changes to their sound, being a bit slower and not so complete experience of a band. Technically not the best band, but still Sinking Ships stamped their name on 2000s Hc scene, with some great songs and few that they could have worked on some more...
The band quit in 2008 after some label and inside issues.

FxPxOx or FOREVER POSITIVELY OBSESSED is a Hardcore band from Skopje - Macedonia, formed in 2001.
They are no longer playing since 2008 I think, but have left behind rich discography with alot of splits (w/ My revenge, Secret, I Object!, Seein Red, Threat of riot, Milkadd, Wasserdicht) and appeared on lot compilations.
Some members formed/joined very popular Macedonian band: Bernays Propaganda.
They play 6 fast old school HC songs on this release, that was, btw. released for Singapore label, Homegrown.

Wasserdicht is a Slovenian band that is playing from 1990 with some member changes and minor pauses. They play fast Hardcore with strong crust vocals.
Wasserdicht discography holds some splits with Scuffy Dogs, Konstrukt, Humanitaer, Homo Homini Lupus and Fpo. They also appear on compilations like: No border jam, Držimo skupaj, Preko nacionalizma i rata, Unterhund veselica.

So this is very short 3inch split CD that brings the best from both bands.

Harry as a band found their sound, while they were still searching it with first album.

No Limits have a long way behind them, since they stared way back in 1990 under name 'MENTAL AFFLICTION'. They played over 100 shows, the band had also some member fluctuations and mixed genres from HC to Crust, Oi, Trash...
Their discography is: Our little Wooden House - Demo tape (1993), Jurassic Punk - Live tape (1998) and www.borba.non-stop - full length (2003).

I don't basically know anything about three piece band
(Hozi-drums., Gajsi-bas, Kep-guitar, vox) - Pogrešana Kvaliteta (Lacking Quality). I believe they are from Koroška region. But even if the recording quality is not WarnerBros type, you can tell PK have really own style of fast and pure Punk, that was played in 80s all over the world. Lyrics are also socially critical as it should be for punx like Pogrešana Kvaliteta. I recommend this as a proof that real punk is still alive and that can be still interesting, no matter how it is pacekd and not/sold.
They also have second CD out under no particular name.

Bullets In creates melodic but furious hardcore of a sort, sadly, not often found in today's scene, coming from USA-Bay area.
Sincerely impassioned vocals over explosive yet catchy songs, they combine the best elements of bands like Torches to Rome, Bread and Circuits, early Hot Water Music, and Rites of Spring. If you've lost faith in hardcore, this record will prove that it's not all just meaningless style and fashion.

These are one of those records that you might not dig at first listening. But every next round you will hear something new, that will prove how good this band was.
Intelligently incorporated guitar sounds make this sound like Mike Kirsch has something to do with it, but as far as I know he doesn’t.
I personally like the 12'' release a bit more, but both are definitely worth of check.
There is also the interview with the band included inside download file (pdf, bmp).
Trashed and Burned 7inch was printed in only 500 copies. Conceive 12inch you can still buy at Interpunk.

Probably the most successful Slovenian punk band, that built their base of fans with original sound and mostly fun and unforgettable live performances.
This is their 4th album (1999, 2001(re-mastered)-MOVE YOUR FEET IT'S ONE O'CLOCK, 2000-GO HOME AND PRACTICE, 2004-SUMMER EDITION).
Against the Gravity was produced by some hot shot names in Usa (Produced by Bill Gould - Bass @ Faith No More, Mixed by Rich Veltrop - Tom Petty, Rage Against the Machine, Slayer, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ozzy with South Park,...)

They have distanced a bit from their originality and innovative song structure with this album. The perfect sound and melodies are also reaching for larger commercial success, but they lost some previous Elvis Jackson with it. Some songs are almost too cliché, what we were not used wit them in the past.

All in all this is very solid album, that will reach more people than previous ones. It is a proof that Slovenian band can match popular world artists.
Definitely worth checking out.

What you have here is one of the most real HC albums that came out from BHR.
In my opinion it could be one of the best BHR releases of all time (not considering commercial success probably :P ). It holds 12 fast Old School HC tracks, with some great guitar lines and cool vocals. Songs don't lack melodic parts or anything to be honest. If you are a HC fan this is a must for you to listen.

O! KULT was established on May 4 1982 at 3:05pm, on the second anniversary of the death of the president of the then Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia, marshal Tito. The group emerged and was active in Medvode near Ljubljana.

O! KULT was first of all an uncompromisingly direct and politically engaged punk group. It was active from 1982 to 1986. Because of its political engagement, the group O! KULT was one of the more censored and controlled groups in the then Socialist Republic of Slovenian as well as of Yugoslavia.

This live recording is 20 minutes of pure punk action, O! KULT played six songs.
Because of the uncompromisingly direct and politically and social lyrics and statements, two of the songs were censored and not broadcasted live on Radio Slovenia (Tovariši! - Čigavi, Zahvala zahvalam).

Band Trdoživi comes from Rihemberk, near Nova Gorica. Boys (Boštjan, Miha, Klavdijo) were swimming in punk rock long before Trdoživi formed, in late 2003.
On this Ep they play uncompromised and very organic Hc/Punk. Solid fast five tracks (+1 more Metal-H.Rock) spiced with lyrics about local and personal life in small Rihemberk community. Pure punk without fancy cosmetics shows its real face on this album.

They are recording the first full length album, planned to be released sometime in summer 2009. It is very promising, if judging by demo, I only hope boys will not ruin it by trying to be over melodic and whining..

Another great home scene product! Very solid album with all components to make it a good one. Nice riffs, some catchy sing-alongs, quality vocal and even lyrics that make sense. CD art is also done very nice and it includes lyrics for all nine songs as well. I will allow myself comparison of their sound with early Hot Water Music or Leatherface. So after some silence on Slovenian punkrock records scene, here is finally an album that is a bright spot for present and future slo-punk.
Only thing I can mention as minus, is maybe drums sound, that could be a bit cleaner and more powerful. But after all this is a diy. and it sounds great in general!

What can you do to support the band and scene in generally?
Go to their MySpace page, order this album that will cost you only few cigarettes packs or few beers. Why? You know how easy it is to loose Mp3s and how good is to actually have a solid album in hands.

Hailing from Maribor Slovenia, Curse Of Instinct brings you metalcore with heavy guitar riffs and smooth solos, including breakdowns, lots of hard fast rythms and machinegun double bas, with their own touch. Curse Of Instinct combine »the new wave of American heavy metal« and some old school HC, with metal passages, influenced by bands like In Flames, Iron Maiden, Caliban, Killswitchengage The band was formed in late 1999 by members from local HC-punk bands. In year 2000, band released their first demo tape with 7 songs for When the day come records. Six months later in 2001 they signed with one of biggest Austrian HC label Burnningseason records and released their first MCD »As the rain falls down« in 2002, which was accepted very good by critics and zines all over Europe and was marked as one of the most promising bands in scene. Inaugurated in 1992, the No Border Jam Festival is the oldest Slovene underground music festival, a punk festival similar to the ‘If Kids are United’ festival in Vienna, Austria, and the ‘Monte Paradiso’ festival in Pula, Croatia. The programme has presented some significant names of the anarcho-punk and punk scene, including Oi Polloi, Marky Ramone, Citizen Fish, Wat Tyler, Icons of Filth, Anarcrust and several local groups which are well-known in Europe, eg Pridigarji, Scuffy Dogs, Center za dehumanizacijo (CZD) and a number of other new groups. The festival takes place in eastern Slovenia; the first one was held in Ptuj and the second one at Ormož, but all subsequent festivals have been hosted by the Pekarna Cultural Centre in Maribor. Great band from Gornja Radgona. Only three guys, but they make very quality noise and with this attitude they can become very recognizable in the European scene.
This first kind of demo album was first pressed (burned) in 100 copies that sold out very fast. So they re-issued it. Buy it here and show your appreciation for all the great work they are doing.
My only complain is about a bit boring and cliche lyrics and maybe too monotone song structure.
Next spring (2009) their 2nd full length is coming out at MoonLee Records.
Definitely worth of wait because we can expect one of the best Slovenian punk records in recent time!

Not FLOORPUNCH but LOWPUNCH. Besides the name, there are also a lot of musical paralles. LOWPUNCH play classic 80ies old school with very fast drums. Musically you know what you get: dance-parts, sing-alongs, etc. They really know how to present the old school. The songs sound powerful and have lots of spirit. The riffs don't get boring and songs like "it's not over yet" or "..." add even more diversity. "Act...revolt...live" does not get boring although it lasts almost 40 minutes and carries 24 songs (including their old demo). The production is clean and tight. The lyrics deal with our modern society, the punk and hardcore community, the idea of d.i.y., racism, homophobia, etc. Everything is kept really political but without being docmatic or superficial. There's NOTHING about this record that I don't like and if you're into thoughtful old school hardcore you should go for this one!

From start it may sound a bit predictable, but later songs develop in to very listenable hc.
At the 13th song you'll be listening really loud and wishing more.
Mastering was done by one of the Slovenian best guitarists Bor Zulijan. I don't know if that means a lot, but it must something. :)

!I have left out tracks form 14-24 because they are old demo recordings and I find the album very more real without those demo tracks!

Band Kreshesh Nepitash is coming from the city Trbovlje. First bigger gig happened at Metelkova 8 months after band begun playing. They played before Croatian legends Hladno Pivo. In 2006 they recorded first demo and in 2007 this 9 song EP.

Naked Raygun was a highly influential Chicago-based rock music group. Initially active from the early 1980s to about 1990, Naked Raygun had several short-lived reunions afterwards and a full-time reformation in 2006.

From the beginning, their music had a strong sense of melody and songwriting, with Pezzati's lyrics often exploring working class issues. Naked Raygun began in the noise rock/hardcore punk styles, later branching out into more adventurous post hardcore. By their early '90s incarnation, Naked Raygun's melodic tendencies became more pronounced, with strong power pop leanings in the vein of Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, and The Jam.

Originally from Northern Virginia, the band formed in 1987, its members including Joe Banks, Doug Crosby, Brian Stewart and Mikey Warstler. They moved to Richmond in 1990, and soon, after numerous line up changes, put together a solid lineup to release their first album in 1992. Special Forces formed in 1983 in Berkely, CA.
They play Hardcore and punk, old school style.
This is theirs second full length. They released demo tape in '83, two LPs [WORLD DOMINATION LP (Boner, 1984) and S/T (New Wave, 1987)] plus two 7 inch [RED, WHITE AND BLUE 7" (Shredder, 1991), POSTHUMOUSLY YOURS 7" (Cheetah Records, 2000)]
So this S/T album is kind of hard to track down on the internet and I was lucky enough to find this record and buy it.
Originally I ripped it in FLAC, but I converted it into Mp3 in favor of smaller size.

Please Inform the Captain This is a Hijack was a six piece political hardcore band based in California in the early years of 2000. The most famous member of the band was Mike Kirsch (Bread and Circuits, Colbom, Fuel, Pinhead Gunpowder, Baader Brains etc.) but the band also featured members from bands including Former Members Of Alfonsin, Life's Halt and The Dirts.

During their time as a band they only released one self-titled six track EP (on 12" vinyl), but 2006 sees the release of a "lost" album, 'Defeat Or Humiliate The United States Of America' (12" vinyl, 1000 pressed - 200 blue/red, 800 black).

Very recommended! In-between tracks make this album very special. And Mike Kirsch has some crazy ideas that are probably at best on this album.
So what to say, THIS IS a HIJACK...

This CD was released by an American enthusiast and music lover - Justin Cudney.
He first came across original Lp in a store in Florida.
Justin was very excited by the underground and exotic HC from Yugoslavia.
Than some two decades later he remembered that this would be a good idea to release it again and to add some new bands, that keep the scene alive, to fill up the space on CD.
That's how this CD came to life. So you got here 11 bands and 44 tracks of pure HC.

The group from Celje, was founded in May 2002.
In December 2003 Stranci closed themselves into Studio Ant and recorded the material for the new CD with the title Zavrnjeno (Rejected). So in October 2005 the new CD from Stranci finally came to light. The CD Zavrnjeno was published by the author with a limited edition of 500 copies. Stranci believe that the CD is somewhere between the music of garage bands and hard rock. There are 12 authorial songs on the CD and also an adaptation of the song Lepi in prazni (The beautiful and the empty) by the legendary Pankrti. (taken from Stranci MySpace page)

The show was fantastic, even I'm not a huge fan of Strung out.
Jason was pretty stoned (some methamphetamines) IMO!
That is how every punk rock show should look like. NO security, NO fence and 10 feet safety space in front of stage.
Straight contact with the band.
There was a lot of stage diving and even some chicks were doing it :)
Even old Punk rocking farts would be satisfied with the action.

NIET formed up in 1982 and recorded 27 songs. They tour in France and Yugoslavia. In 1991 when Habič died from od., band quits and reforms in 1993 with guitarist Igor Dernovšek on guitar and vocals. First release contained 4 songs in English from the last band era (after singer death) and all other recorded songs with Primož Habič on vocals. It was released after promotinal tour accros Slovenia in 1993. Vinlmanija than printed live album, recorded in Trieste and Ljubljana in 1985. The release date is 1995. 1996 brought third album with songs published on 1993 edition, but without English songs. It is almost impossible to get these CDs now days, because they were printed in small editions of few hundred copies.
They haven't been the only Punk and HC pioneers in Slovenia at that time, but they caught eye of wider public, mostly because of few slower and more melodic songs from the last era, like Lep dan za smrt (Beautiful day to die), which is also the title of 1996 release.
They re-gathered this year on a small club show, and have a larger concert booked in Križanke place in Ljubljana for 27th of May 2008.

This was recorded in club MKNŽ in Ilirska Bistrica. The club is a host to alternative music for a long time. Some known names have been there, like: Burning Heads, Subhumans, Toasters,

The cassette features two Slovenian bands: Not The Same, M.I.L.K. and two Croatian: Radikalna Promjena, Verbalni Delikt. None of the bands is still active today, as far as I know.
Side A brings Slovenian Punk pack, when side B holds Croatian bands and is more Hardcore.

Fist 7'' singel Lublana je bolana by Pankrti was released only 1 year after legendary Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. So if we have never been first at anything, Punk was first thing that started in Slovenia at the same time as round the world.
Pankrti (meaning Bastards, from Slovenian word for Punk (PANKrti)), started in a turbulent time when people were fed up with socialistic order of East block Europe (Behind the iron curtain). If u maybe don't know how this worked.. well you couldn't just say what you are thinking, and Punk brought just that. They were supervised and followed by internal police and all that shit, but Yugoslavia was loosing its form as we knew it since end of WW2.
I would put their sound somewhere between Clash, Husker Du and Naked Raygun...
Državni ljubimci is second full length from Pankrti.

Res Nullius, from Velenje is on of the oldest rock and hard rock bands in Slovenia. They are active from 1989. Debut album from 1993 was called ''No One Can Like The Drummer Man''. A nice response leads to second album ''Dead Town Dogs''. They tour than a lot and usa Flipside fanzine calls them one of the best punk and rock bands behind iron curtain. In 1996 rhythm section is replaced (Bass, Drums). Third record is first one in Slovenian language and its called ''Zdravo je biti divji'' (It's Healthy to Be Wild). It was released in 1997. Revolver ljubezni from 2003 (Love revolver) is their last album till now. Its a bit melohonic, but keeps the band signature hard beats and melodic songs.

One of the best punk and rock 'n' roll bands in Slovenia today. They didn't hit mainstream scene, but songs and lyrics are really fun and quality of song writing is very high. Muškat Hamburg released a full length Cd called ''Uživaj pokončno'' (Enjoy with head up), which is accepted great with all music lovers. (I'm not going to post it since you can still buy the album on their homepage and in stores, and i think you should do so). Much more info about the band is available on their homepage and MySpace.

Racija was a band from Vrhnika near Ljubljana. Their legacy is three studio albums and very strong influence on those days punks and rockers. Te band quit after they got most of the equipment stolen and also from lack of motivation.
Restavracija za vse generacije is Racija's second album in a row. And in my opinion - the best one.
Other releases were; Rdeči alarm, 1996 and Agenti, 1999. They appear on tribute to NIET (Drz'te jih! TO NISO NIET!!!), with cover of Vijolice.

Multiball is most active punk rock band in Slovenia in present. Guys some from Celje area. After debut release At Last! and a lot of shows home and abroad they released second full length album called Endless journey. Both and specially second one can stand aside to all American and Eu pop punk bands. As recognition they are opening for Flatliners an Bad Religion in near future.

SpiritCore band Polska Malca started in 1982 with 4 members. It was the first Punk/Hardcore band in this area (Posavje). It was formed by a bass player Gianni. Their first song was called Anti Humanist which came out on a tape "from Plac with Love". The group worked with a few brakes, but was constantly together until 1994. They came to their highest point from the middle to the end of the 80’s, with their concerts across the Europe.In year 1988 their first album was published. It was called "Mojster s snezinko" (A Man with a Snowflake) for the label "Front Rock". And year after that it came out in Germany for "RPN" named "Polska Malca". In the start of 90’s, the members changed, it was well seen in the style. In the year 1990 the band freezes.

Now 13 years later, they got together again with a new guitarist Vójak. Now Polska Malca sounds persuasive like in old good times, but more mature. At the moment they’re playing material from LP "Man with a Snowflake". They’re also preparing new songs from old unrealized material with original tunes. In the year 2008 they’re planning to go on the European tour. Their special wish is to visit again all the stages they have once been on. (From Polska malca MySpace)

M.I.L.K. was a four piece band from Ptuj, Slovenia. I don't know much about them. They appear on a live split cassette (Not The Same, MILK; (SLO), Radikalna promjena, Verbalni delikt; (CRO)) from MKNŽ club from 1996 and No Border Jam vol. 2 compilation with song: Pero's song.
As I heard they were very active in sub cultural scene in Ptuj and area near it. This self titled debut album is also bands only full length.

Inaugurated in 1992, the No Border Jam Festival is the oldest Slovene underground music festival, a punk festival similar to the ‘If Kids are United’ festival in Vienna, Austria, and the ‘Monte Paradiso’ festival in Pula, Croatia. The programme has presented some significant names of the anarcho-punk and punk scene, including Oi Polloi, Marky Ramone, Citizen Fish, Wat Tyler, Icons of Filth, Anarcrust and several local groups which are well-known in Europe, eg Pridigarji, Scuffy Dogs, Center za dehumanizacijo (CZD) and a number of other new groups. The festival takes place in eastern Slovenia; the first one was held in Ptuj and the second one at Ormož, but all subsequent festivals have been hosted by the Pekarna Cultural Centre in Maribor. (from: SCP)

Band comming from Trbovlje, was active in mid 90's to 1998-1999.  They have a live split cassette (Not The Same, MILK; (SLO), Radikalna promjena, Verbalni delikt; (CRO)) from MKNŽ club from 1996. They appear on No border jam vol. 4&5 (double CD) compilation with 2 songs - (Misli si svoje, Plan B). 
Also there was split 7'' Not The Same / Headstrong on Pancake Records in 1998 pressed in 321 copies but it hit the streets only this year (2008) after band re-union gigs.
Hate is only full length album released. It has 16 tracks and is fully in English.
Last one has a track hidden after CD plays out, but it is only guys
having fun and joking around.
